Professional Experience

From 2011 to 2013:

Consultant to Kiewit-Alarie, Design/Build contractor on the Smoky Falls Hydro-Electric project in Northern Ontario. Leader of a seven-person team for the following assignments:

  • Coordination of design requirements of the construction site with the SNC-Lavalin design team
  • Coordination with the Owner’s team regarding design questions and issues
  • Contract administration of the design subcontract with SNC-Lavalin

 

From 2008 to 2010:

Consultant to Kiewit-Parsons, Design/Build contractor on the A-25 Highway project as part of a Private-Public Partnership (PPP) in the Montreal area. Leader of a six-person team for the following assignments:

  • Cost estimating of a significant change to the project
  • Contract administration of subcontracts totalling 100 M$. These works included highway and urban drainage, water mains, highway lighting, highway signage, underground electric conduits, traffic lights and their controls, and a remote monitoring detection system
  • Coordination and integration of subcontract work schedules with the general work schedule

 

From 2006 to 2007:

Project Manager – West lot of East-West Highway, Algeria for Dessau-Soprin International

  • Provision of Program Management services on a €10 billion highway project in Algeria including the analysis and review of the design
  • Administration of the contracts with the Design/Build contractor and the quality control firm
  • Supervision of the project Schedule and Cost Management
  • Management of Project Quality
  • Responsibility for the establishment and the management of the West lot Office of Dessau-Soprin in Oran, Algeria

 

From 1998 to 2006:

  • Consultant to various project owners and constructors in the design and construction of projects
  • Management consultant for construction companies
  • Expert consulting services in the organization and preparation of defenses to lawsuits
